Remote monitoring of equipment and irrigation systems drastically lowers the cost of farming

Agriculture may not be the most glamorous M2M service sector in today’s heavily populated post-industrial world of the Internet, smartphones, and computer tablets, yet it is huge with many sub-sectors.
